Samsung is likely to change the displays of the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 6

A new report suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 6 will have screens with different dimensions than the current generation. It seems that the appearance of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be similar to the Galaxy S25 series, which is more than a year away from its unveiling. The Z Flip 6 is also rumored to have a larger external display, possibly up to 3.9 inches in size; Its internal screen could also have thinner bezels.

According to A fresh report from an informed sourceIt seems that Samsung’s next-generation foldable phones will have changes in the design and dimensions of the screens. The source claims that the design of the Z Fold 6 will be similar to the Galaxy S25 series, possibly a change from the current designs. It is also possible that the internal and external displays of the Z Fold 6 will change. Not many details about these changes have been released, but it is speculated that the outer screen of the phone may have a different aspect ratio.

Samsung changes the dimensions of the Z Fold and Flip 6 screens

Some time ago it was rumored that Samsung is interested in increasing the external screen size of Z Flip 6 to 3.9 inches. This external display will be placed on a four-inch shell (including the display panel itself and its border), which is about the size of the iPhone 5.

In the current generation Z Flip, the outer display has a curve to make room for the dual camera lens and LED flash. If Samsung wants to replace the current 3.9-inch display, perhaps the company will go for a display design with holes for the camera lens, similar to the design of the Motorola Razr Plus.

The aspect ratio of the current generation Z Fold display is 23.1:9 and it is really long and narrow, which some users have a problem with. It is possible that Samsung will modify these dimensions in Z Fold 6 to satisfy more users.

We are almost seven months away from the introduction of the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 6. Until then, this information may be confirmed or denied, so it is not possible to comment with certainty about the displays of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones.
