Samsung probably won’t ship the Galaxy S22 FE; The end of the Fan Edition series?

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 FE as a low-cost flagship in 2020, with the Galaxy S21 FE as its successor in January. Samsung has previously claimed that it will continue to release new Fan Edition models in the coming years, and even these devices have been well received, but a new report claims that the Korean-based tech giant may stop production of the series. Galaxy S22 FE will not be.

Reputable website SamMobile According to its sources, the company will not release the Galaxy S22 FE, citing its sources. Based on the model number of previous devices, the S22 FE was supposed to enter the market with the model number SM-S900. However, research conducted by this website shows that this model number does not currently exist for any device.

Lack of leaked information about Galaxy S22 FE

While the S21 FE hit the market this year, it was expected to be introduced last year as its renderings and specifications were revealed in June 2021. But at the moment, there is also no information about the Galaxy S22 Fan Edition.

It seems that the Galaxy S21 FE did not meet the expectations of the Korean company. This device was initially scheduled for the third quarter Year 2021 To enter the market, but its release was eventually postponed until January 2022. A few weeks later, Samsung launched a new generation of its flagships, the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and Ultra, which, possibly with more powerful flagships, has led to fewer customers buying the S21 FE.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 along with the Galaxy Watch 5 series in August. It remains to be seen whether Samsung plans to introduce a different low-cost flagship in the fourth quarter of this year, and what reports will be released.
