Samsung released an interesting video of the production and testing of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 by robots

At its Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this month, Samsung said about Durability And resistance Its new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, made some bold claims. Now a video has been released by the Korean tech giant showing the experiments carried out by the robots Galaxy Z Fold 4 It shows before being released to the market.

Video Shared by Samsung, it shows the last few steps in the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s production cycle, where robots put the device’s back cover on, followed by assessments. In these tests, some functions of the device, including touch and proximity sensor, S Pen and contactless payment capabilities of the device are examined.

Then the device’s network and camera test is performed, in which the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s performance in network transmission and reception and the device’s camera functions are fully evaluated.

Once that’s done, Samsung’s robotic arms run a series of durability tests on its new foldable phone.

In the first test, the device’s resistance to water is checked, in which a dedicated chamber is used for the same evaluation. Devices that survive the test will then enter a foldable device evaluation where robotic arms open and close the handsets to identify potential problems with the process.

Another unique robot then tests the side buttons of the device by repeatedly pressing them, and once again the water resistance test is performed, this time the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is completely submerged in water.

While this video doesn’t focus on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in general, Samsung’s smaller foldable phone is finally getting water resistance tests.
