Sardar Qaani’s meeting with the Governor of Latakia, Syria – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to the report of Mehr news agency, quoted by al-Alam al-Moghazi, Sardar Qaani, commander of Iran’s Quds Force, went to Latakia. During this trip, he met and consulted with the governor of Latakia and other relevant officials to find out about the damage caused by the recent earthquake in order to directly monitor the process of Iran’s humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims.

During his trip to Latakia province, Sardar Qaani met with the governor and relevant officials of Syria and learned about the extent of damage caused by the devastating earthquake.

This trip coincides with the continued arrival of aid convoys from Iran and Iraq to the earthquake-stricken areas in Latakia, Syria.

Sardar Qaani had gone to Aleppo a few days before.

After the earthquake in Syria, the high officials of the country, including the heads of the forces, while sympathizing with the government and people of Turkey and Syria, announced their readiness to send emergency aid and so far several stages of aid have been sent to these countries.
