Saudi Arabia condemned the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza



According to IRNA from the official Saudi news agency (WAS), the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this statement “condemned the attack of the Zionist occupation forces on the Gaza Strip.”
Emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s stand with the Palestinian people, the ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to end the escalation of tension and provide the necessary protection to civilians and try to end this long-term conflict.

Previously, various countries, organizations and authorities separately demanded to stop the aggression and make the Zionist regime accountable for its crimes.

In response to the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza, the spokesperson of the United Nations stated that the organization has always been concerned about the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

“Stefan Dujarric”, the spokesman of the United Nations, said on Friday about the airstrikes of the Zionist regime on Gaza that we have always been concerned about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and we are still concerned about this issue.

He clarified: We are in contact with our colleagues in Gaza.

The UN special coordinator in the Middle East peace process, however, in response to the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza, not only did not condemn these attacks, but in a biased position held all parties responsible and demanded that the resistance groups stop responding to this crime.

Tor Vansland, the UN special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, announced in a statement on Friday evening that he was “deeply concerned about the escalation of tension between the Israeli military and the Palestinians, including the targeted killing of one of the leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad on Friday inside Gaza. I am worried.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran, Qatar, Turkey, Algeria, Jordan, Tunisia, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, the National Salvation Government of Yemen and the Arab League were among the most important countries and international organizations that in their statements condemned the brutal attacks of the Zionist regime on Condemned the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, the special rapporteur of the United Nations in the Palestinian territories expressed his regret for the new crimes of the Zionist regime in the attack on Gaza and emphasized that the intentional killing of Palestinians has now reached a shameful stage.

Tor Wensland said that the killing of Palestinian people in Gaza continues, and as a result of Israel’s attacks in the past three days, dozens of people were killed and hundreds were injured.

He added that “Israel cannot claim that it is defending itself in this conflict.”

The special rapporteur of the United Nations in the occupied territories of Palestine called for the presence of the preventive force of this organization in the occupied territories.

Announcing that all of the Gaza Strip and 60 percent of the West Bank are still occupied by Israel, Wenzland stressed that all the people of Gaza and Palestine have the right to defend themselves against Israeli attacks.

The UN special rapporteur on Palestinian affairs added that the blockade of Gaza should be lifted and the people should return to normal life.

The Zionist army started its air and artillery attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip from Friday evening, and so far 32 people, including 6 children and 2 women, have been martyred as a result of these barbaric attacks.

215 other Palestinian citizens have been injured since the start of the Zionist regime’s aggression on the Gaza Strip on Friday evening, of which 96 are children, 30 are women, and 12 are elderly.

In response to these criminal attacks, Palestinian resistance groups targeted Zionist cities and towns in the occupied territories, especially Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport, with hundreds of rockets.

Quds forces, the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, have also targeted different areas of occupied Palestine with their rockets and mortars from Friday night to Sunday morning.
The news sources of the Zionist regime announced that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and resistance groups have so far fired more than 600 missiles and rockets towards occupied Palestine.
This recent crime by the Zionists has faced a wave of condemnation at the international level, especially in the Islamic world, and various countries, authorities, parties and personalities emphasize the need to stop it and make the Zionist regime accountable.
