Al-Youm opinion quoted knowledgeable Lebanese political sources as reporting that “Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud”, the Saudi Foreign Minister, will carry a message from “King Salman bin Abdulaziz King Salman bin Abdulaziz”, the King of Saudi Arabia, early next week to ” Ebrahim Raisi will be the president of Iran. Amir Abdollahian thanked and appreciated the facilities and good arrangements provided by Saudi Arabia for the journey of Iranian pilgrims in order to perform Hajj Tamattu.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran added: In the previous talks, we talked about the necessity of strengthening the commercial and economic relations between the two countries, and your Excellency’s upcoming visit to Tehran will be an opportunity for further discussion and exchange of views in order to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields.
Amir Abdollahian also considered BRICS as a new opportunity for multilateral cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia and other member countries of this group, especially in economic and commercial fields.
Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan also expressed his satisfaction with the very good progress made in bilateral relations during this meeting.
He thanked the Iranian side for their valuable assistance in welcoming the Saudi technical delegation in order to lay the groundwork for the opening of the Saudi embassy and consulate general in Iran, and added that with the very good cooperation of the two sides, we quickly passed the stages of appointing ambassadors and laying the groundwork for the opening of political and consular missions.
