According to the economic correspondent of Fars News Agency, last summer, at the same time as the 13th government started, 300 cities of the country were struggling with the issue of water tension. In other words, the amount of water resources provided for these cities was not proportional to the existing uses, and in technical terms, 300 cities of the country had an imbalance of drinking water resources and uses.

Based on this, considering that less than 8% of the country’s water is consumed in the drinking sector, the amount of rainfall reduction effect on drinking water resources is low, and the main reason for the formation of drinking water tension is the problem of water supply infrastructure.

Considering the mentioned issue, from the beginning of the 13th government, the issue of monitoring and monitoring the state of drinking water in the cities of the country was given serious attention with the establishment of a camp.

Based on the published information about the operation of this camp, in the initial step, the initial monitoring and observation of the country’s cities in terms of the ability of supply sources and consumption is on the agenda, and then the camp’s meetings to monitor the state of drinking water in the country’s cities separately for each province with the presence of managers Regional water and water supply of each region will be held.

In these meetings, the latest existing conditions of each province are monitored continuously, and the list of cities with resource and expenditure mismatches is updated. After that, software and hardware projects, including solutions to reduce water consumption, as well as the development of water supply infrastructure, will be approved, and finally, credit will be allocated to carry out the projects.
