According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian, head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management of Weather Risks, gave a general forecast of the country’s weather situation over the next five days and said: In the northwest of the country, the Caspian Sea coast, the southern slopes of Alborz in the provinces of Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran and Semnan, parts of the center and south of the country, especially in the central and southern Zagros and scattered in the provinces of Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan and Kerman in Scattered rain, thunderstorms, and temporary strong winds will sometimes occur during some hours, sometimes accompanied by dust.
He added: “These instabilities will intensify in most of the above areas on Saturday, and in prone areas, hail will not be far from expectation.”
He said that the intensity of rain in these two days will be in the northwest of the country and in the slopes and heights of Central Alborz and Central Zagros, he said: during this period, a relative decrease in temperature will occur on the Caspian Sea coast and some parts of the northwest. Sunday (May 7) This system will be active in the northern strip of the country, including the northwest, the Caspian Sea coast, the northeast and the southern slopes of the Alborz.
He continued: “Also in the east, southeast and south of the country, occasional thunderstorms and strong winds are forecast.” On Monday (May 7) and Tuesday (May 10), these instabilities will occur in the northern part of the country, including the northwest, the Caspian Sea coast and the northeast of the country.
He pointed out that due to the formation of dust on Iraq and its transfer to the western strip of the country on Friday for the western half and southern regions of the country, the phenomenon of dust, air quality and horizontal visibility will also occur, he said: Saturday in some parts Strong winds are forecast from the west and center of the country and the provinces of Alborz, Tehran and Semnan, and in some places with dust. It should be noted that the northern part of the Persian Gulf and the central parts of the Caspian Sea on Sunday and the Caspian Sea are rough during the next three days.
He also predicted the weather conditions of the capital during the next three days and stated: The sky of Tehran today, Friday, during the daytime is partly cloudy, from partly cloudy to cloudy in the afternoon with thunderstorms and lightning, sometimes strong winds with dust and in Partly cloudy to cloudy night In some hours, strong winds, sometimes thunderstorms and a little cloudy are forecast at the end of the day, and the air temperature will reach 17 to 29 degrees Celsius at its lowest and highest levels.
He added: “Also tomorrow, Saturday, the sky in Tehran will be partly cloudy from partly cloudy to partly cloudy in the afternoon. The air varies between 18 and 29 degrees Celsius. Tehran, the day after tomorrow, Sunday, the sky will be clear to partly cloudy with wind and the temperature will be between 26 and 17 degrees Celsius.
