Screening of 4 films in the short film hangout / Mohammad Taghi Fahim criticizes

Theater News Base: The second session of the seventh season of the Short Film Hangout will be held on Monday, May 16th, with the screening of 4 short fiction films.

In the second session of the seventh season of The Hangout, organized by the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, the short fiction films “Laughter for Reasonless Deer” directed by Sajjad Imani, “Jan Dad” directed by Soheila Pourmohammadi, “Dashneh” directed by Saman Tafreshi and the short animation “Bird” Directed by Seyed Ahmad Jafarian.

In this event, cinema critic Mohammad Taghi Fahim, as a special expert of the second session, after the screening of the works, talks with the directors of the screened films and analyzes the works professionally. This program is implemented by Mostafa Sajedi.

Due to the welcome of fans and artists in the first session of the seventh season, from this week, the short film hangout will be hosted by fans and guests in Hall 6 of Charso Cinema Campus with more capacity.

The short film “Unreasonable Laughter of Deer” directed by Sajjad Imani and written by Maziar Tehrani in the fantasy genre is an adventure produced by the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, Shiraz office.

“Jan Dad” is written and directed by Soheila Pourmohammadi, a melodrama produced by the Youth Cinema Association, Rudbar.

Saman Tafreshi has directed “Sticker” in the crime genre. This short film is a free adaptation of the story of “Sword Wound” by Jorge Luis Borges and has been produced by the Iranian Youth Cinema Association.

The short animation “Open Bird” was also written and directed by Seyed Ahmad Jafarian and produced by the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, Khomeini Shahr’s office.

The second session of the seventh season of the short film hangout will be held on Monday, May 16 at 3 pm in Hall 6 of the Charso Cinema Campus and will include a screening of works and a review session.

Attendance at this program is free and open to all interested parties.
