Screening of 5 Iranian short films in “Persian Film Nights” in Hamburg



The short films “Surahi”, “Manicure”, “Don’t Tell Nobody”, “Monaco” and “Dam” will be screened in the first “Nema” program for screening Iranian films in Germany.

Theater News Base: “Nema” is the title of a series of screenings of Iranian films in “Persian Film Nights”, which will start on Friday, June 27, coinciding with May 27, with the screening of 5 short films in Hamburg, Germany.

“Nema” has been arranged with the aim of seeing the works of young Iranian filmmakers in the international arena and as an opportunity for them.

The first program of this event is dedicated to showing 5 selected Iranian short films that have well portrayed the current issues of the Persian language community. After the screening of the films, there will be a conversation with the filmmakers.

Short films “Manicure” directed by Arman Fayyaz, “Dam” directed by Nasser Zamiri, “Monaco” directed by Arman Khansarian, “Tell No One” directed by Sahar Sotoudeh and “Surahi” by Saeed Nejati on Friday, June 27 at the 3001 Cinema Hall Chance of Hamburg will be screened in the form of “Nema” program.

The “Nema” series of programs is organized by the Hamburg Cultural Association under the direction of Iranian filmmaker Dariush Ebadi.
