See the location of your friends live with the new Android audience feature

In the new Android update, audiences can see the location of their friends live through the Contacts app.
Recently, Google has added a new feature to the Contacts program for Android phones, which users can use to see the location of their family and friends live. It may have taken a while for Google to implement this program, but now you can use this feature by installing version 4.22.37.586680692 of the Contacts app.
According to Android Police, the location sharing feature is supported by Google Maps and is located in the Contact Info section between contact options. As soon as you tap on this option, their location will open in Maps and you can see the route to get there. You can also set a notification or an alert for when your friend or family are approaching your location so you know when they’re coming.
In order to be able to use this new Android feature, you must follow a series of tips. First of all, you need to save that person’s Gmail address in your app. Second, your contacts should actively share their location on Google Maps. If these two things are observed, you can see the location of your friends with the Android contacts program.
Teaching how to use live location sharing feature
Setting up and activating this feature is very easy. In the Google Maps app, tap on the profile picture to find the Location Sharing option from the menu that appears. Tap on this option, then on the screen that appears, tap on the blue Share Location button. After that, from the audience you want to have your location information at any moment, choose whoever you want according to your decision. Often, people choose to show their location temporarily by selecting a time limit, but if you want people to find you, select the Until you turn this off option.
