He added: “Since December last year, all new card readers and every internet portal that has been launched have been connected to the taxpayers’ system, and a tax file has been prepared for them.”

The Deputy Minister of New Technologies of the Central Bank added: “Information on old card readers is also available in the payment network, and we have planned to file a case based on a specific schedule and in cooperation with the Tax Affairs Organization, and to identify tax evasion in this area.” .

He said: “In this regard, in the first step, a text message was sent to 100,000 card readers who had high transactions to file a case.”

Moharramian added: “If the card readers do not want a case to be filed against them for any reason, they will cancel it, otherwise they will file a tax case.”
