According to Fars news agency, Masoud Ahmadian, Cultural Vice President of Farabi Cinema Foundation and Deputy Director of the 35th International Festival of Children and Youth Films, announced on the eve of the deadline for sending projects to the Farabi License Fund: Currently, about 100 projects have been registered in the Farabi License Fund system. Among the applicants, the names of prominent figures can be seen. Also, young filmmakers have made a significant contribution in sending works to this fund.
Emphasizing the non-extension of the deadline for submitting works to the license fund, he said: The deadline for submission of designs according to the announced call is the end of Friday, May 15, and this deadline will not be extended. Also, after the system is closed, the process of reading and reviewing plans will begin immediately.
He said about the minimum number of works considered by the Farabi Cinema Foundation to support the production: according to the specifications and capabilities of the plans and the budget conditions we have, the number of suitable works to be supported will be determined.
According to this news, the license fund of Farabi Cinema Foundation, with the participation of Isfahan Municipality, with the aim of supporting the development of production in children’s and youth cinema, started its official activity with the publication of a call on March 27, 1401.
This fund supports projects and scripts that include the themes of identity crisis, especially in teenagers, self-confidence, patriotism and promotion of moral and religious values, family-oriented with emphasis on respect for children and parents, and drawing micro-behaviors and Islamic-Iranian lifestyle, legalism with a focus Observing and respecting the rules, hope, social happiness and cheerfulness of children and teenagers, and responsibility, hard work and avoiding laziness and convenience will be given special attention.
