View Once feature is one of the newest WhatsApp features that users can use to send a disposable or deleted video or photo to their audience.

WhatsApp, as one of the most popular media messengers in the world, has so far provided many capabilities to its users. This messenger has recently unveiled the View Once feature, which allows the user to send a one-time photo to the intended audience. This means that once the recipient sees the photo, they can no longer see it, and WhatsApp automatically deletes the photo.

How to use WhatsApp View Once feature

It should be noted that this feature is similar to the feature of Instagram fading images. In order to use the View Once feature before sending a video or photo, users select the file they want to send and then a circle icon at the bottom right of the page. Select Figure 1. After sending the photo, the recipient can only see it once.

It should be noted that according to WhatsApp, it is not possible to save the file sent in Gallery and Photos. Additionally, the recipient of the photo or video cannot save and share it ‌ starred. The sender can also check if the recipient has viewed the photo or video by turning on the check box.

It should be noted that if the recipient does not see the file sent to him using the View Once feature for 14 days, the file will be unavailable. Also, if the file does not open at the time of backup, ‌ the user can view it once later. In addition, if the user has viewed the uploaded file, it can no longer be retrieved.

Also, according to WhatsApp, the sender will not notice if the recipient takes a screenshot of the photo before deleting it. Therefore, it is better to send disposable videos or photos only to safe people.
