Sending Tik Tok stories to Instagram is finally possible

The new Tik Tok content sharing feature makes it possible to send stories from this platform to other social media, including Instagram and Reddit.

The Tik Tok application, which has attracted many audiences these days, is a short video platform that is gradually growing and establishing its position in the field of social networks. In the meantime, other platforms are also trying to use the features of this program. However, while other competing apps are copying TikTok’s features, the platform is trying to work with them and continue to evolve. This application recently released a new feature that helps content creators in this application to send Tik Tok stories directly to other platforms, including Instagram.

Tik Tok Stories can now be shared directly to Instagram and Facebook, according to reports. Meanwhile, Meta has been copying TikTok’s short video feature across its main media platforms, including Instagram. However, the latest version of TikTok allows content from the app to appear on meta platforms as well.

TikTok started testing its new story feature called “TikTok Stories” early last year. The company recently confirmed that the new sharing feature will allow users to repost their stories on various major social media platforms.

This feature was first discovered by the intelligence company Watchful. According to Tik Tok, this feature has recently been established for users of this platform. Therefore, if you are a user of this application and this feature has not yet been activated for you, don’t worry and it will be available to the public soon.

Ability to share Tik Tok stories on Instagram, Reddit and other platforms

Meta is trying to downgrade many original Tik Tok videos on its Rails app. However, TikTok’s new sharing feature will boost the platform’s content on Instagram. Meta has previously informed content creators that the company prioritizes their own Rails content and emphasized that the company’s content recommendation algorithm will pay attention to Tik Tok video watermarks. Of course, reposting original content may provide a new way for TikTok content creators to share and gain exposure.

There have also been reports of Tik Tok’s new Story sharing interface. Previously, after users selected the option, they could tap on their friend’s avatar in the pop-up share menu to directly share the original content with their friends on the TikTok platform. In addition, this feature allows users to save their videos on the desired devices and delete or change privacy settings.

A row of main social apps has now been added to the share menu, along with the option to copy the link to the video. Users can repost Tik Tok stories on platforms such as Facebook, Reddit, and Instagram. In other words, users can only repost stories in this way, and this feature is not active for Tik Tok videos.

Like other platforms, Tik Tok stories can contain still images or videos. It is still not possible to directly share TikTok videos on Facebook or Instagram platforms other than Rails, unless the creators of the TikTok videos move their content to Stories.

For content creators on Tik Tok, this new sharing feature can be an effective way to reach users of other major social networks. The company has not yet confirmed when the ability to transfer stories to Instagram and other platforms will be available globally. However, the Tik Tok Story feature is still being tested in public and has not yet reached the final release. This means that the new sharing feature may not be available to all users yet. In addition, there is a possibility that new changes will be applied to this feature after its global release.
