The head of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Kohgiluyeh, Babian, realized that the establishment of permanent handicraft markets is one of the concerns of the handicraft sector of this city: so far, several meetings have been held with municipal officials and other executive bodies to establish a permanent handicraft market.
Bagheri continued: Black curtain weaving, basket weaving, tablecloth weaving, Jajim weaving, relief rug, felt, tuber weaving, Qur’anic jar, hor, shell weaving, mirror weaving and khorjin weaving are among the most important hand-woven handicrafts of the artists of Kohgiluyeh city.
He clarified: With the establishment of a permanent handicrafts market, the field of job creation for active women has been prepared and these women can sell their products.
