Setting up four detectors in the country’s customs


According to the economic correspondent of Fars news agency, Seyyed Ahsan Khandozi today at the unveiling ceremony of four X-ray or customs detectors at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, which was held through a video conference with Dogharun Customs in Khorasan, Razavi Mahirud in South Khorasan bordering Afghanistan and Norduz in Azerbaijan. The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance said: Since the customs detector imaging devices were launched in the country about 18 years ago, 18 devices were installed in the customs offices, and four devices were installed today, bringing the total to 22 detector devices.

Khandoozi also said: The Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran plans to install 50 customs detectors in the country next year, and all these devices will be built and installed by domestic knowledge-based companies.

He also continued: the use of detection devices in customs is of good quality and transparency, and these devices are manufactured and operated by private, domestic and knowledge-based companies that cooperate with the Ministry of Defense, and shorten the process and Customs formalities help.

Referring to the complaint of one of the neighboring countries about drugs in some shipments, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance said: With the introduction of customs detection devices, we will not see these cases again, and efforts will be made to increase the number of detection devices next year. to use in the country.

Khandoozi also asked the administrative and recruitment organization to provide assistance in providing human resources, because for years we have faced with the lack of recruitment of young people in the customs, and young people are needed especially in the customs detection units, and we should not be careful in any way.
