Seven audio and video media received Satra license

According to Fars News Agency, citing Satra Public Relations, a licensing session was held for seven audio and video media in the Cyber and Audio Media Regulation Organization in cyberspace (Satra). Present at the meeting were Saeed Moghiseh, President of Satra, Mohsen Ghaemi, Nasab Ghaem, Director of Satra, Mehdi Hajalfakhani, Head of the General Directorate of Licensing and Media Affairs of Satra and representatives of these seven media.

New Satra facility
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of Satra thanked the participants and explained the details of the meeting, saying: “From now on, we will hold these meetings in order to grant permission to the applicant media.” These meetings are a good opportunity to hear and interact with media owners. It is noteworthy that a number of media outlets have already submitted their applications and their licenses will be granted at this meeting.

Moghiseh continued the meeting by recounting the facilities that Satra has provided to the audio and video media licensed by this organization and said: “According to the Satra rating system and in order to support audio and video media in providing suitable content for families, a number of Popular movies and series in various genres were made available to the media licensed by this organization. In order to support the licensors of this organization, Satra also provides the content of radio and television networks in a special frame (IFrame) to them. Allocation of participatory credit in order to promote and assist in the field of content production by registering a project in the growth system (rooyesh.irib.ir) is another facility that has been considered for the media.

In another part, the head of Satra mentioned free auditing as the new facility of this organization and explained: Another of Satra’s supporting titles is related to auditing. Before and until 1400, the media had to contract with the introduced brokers to review and audit their products, so that they could issue the necessary licenses; But from now on, all costs are free and the review will be done by the colleagues of IRIB. This measure has been added as an advantage because with this measure, the possibility of using the video effect in the radio and television networks also increases.

In the end, Moghiseh emphasized: “We are all trying to spread and promote the Iranian-Islamic culture desired by the Supreme Leader and to be diligent in providing appropriate content for families to use.”

Granting a final license after six months
In another part of the meeting, Mehdi Hajjalfkhani explained about the licenses granted: The licenses granted to these seven media outlets are indefinite. The media should note that these licenses have a period of six months and there are requirements that the media is obliged to comply with.
