He continued: “The most damage was done to Bibi Zeinab’s tomb and the old building of Chabahar governorate, which includes washing the facades and destroying parts of the cover, which of course also affected the decorations in Bibi Zeinab’s tomb and the amount of damage in “These two buildings are estimated at about 10 billion rials.”
“Old post buildings, the customs and the Portuguese fort of Chabahar are among the other buildings that were damaged by Hurricane Shahin,” Klanouri said.
“In the coming days, a team of experts from the deputy will be sent to the area to further investigate and determine the extent of the damage so that archeological sites and other monuments can be assessed more accurately,” he said.
