This forest is covered with clouds for most days of the year and because of its large size, many different animal and plant species live in it. Eastern Alborz with Shahvar peak and other peaks is the source of many rivers that flowed towards Gorgan and earlier towards Shahroud.

Turan National Park, which is located in the desert area of ​​this city and is the main habitat of Iranian cheetah, is located in this area. “Alochal waterfall and Dalan Behesht Jangal Abar, palm groves, beautiful waterfall and spring of Tash Alia village, Majen waterfall and Negarman village, etc. are among the tourist attractions of Shahrood city. The local language of these villages is Mazandarani. Fruits such as apricots, gooseberries, peaches, cherries, cherries, etc. are among the delicacies of this city.
