Shahrzad Theater Campus hosts 7 plays in May


According to Fars News Agency, quoting the public relations of Shahrzad Theater Campus, with the beginning of May, the performance of seven new and diverse works will begin in Shahrzad Theater Campus.

In addition to the repertoire of the best children’s works, Shahrzad Theater Campus in its new season will host successful performances by renowned directors and selected plays from university and provincial theaters.

Bahram Afshari and “Who Killed the Hedgehog”

Bahram Afshari, a film, theater and television actor, will stage his new play on the Shahrzad Theater campus on May 4, after the successful performance of “Hedgehog”.

The play “Who Killed the Hedgehog” designed, written and played by Bahram Afshari, as well as accompanied by Tino Salehi and produced by Mohammad Quds, will be staged at Shahrzad Campus in May.

Mohammad Rahmanian and “The Love of Corona Days”

The story of “Love of the days of Corona”, which is named after the brilliant novel of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, has been written in seven episodes according to the atmosphere of Tehran in the days of Corona.

Ehteram Boroumand, Mahtab Nasirpour, Mehdi Saki, Mitra Hajar, Andisheh Fooladvand, Narges Mohammadi, Ali Oji and Shakib Shajreh will play roles in this play and Reza Yazdani is the singer of this play.

Tolstoy, Anakarnina and Arash Abbasi

The play “Anakarnina”, written and directed by Arash Abbasi, will be staged at the Shahrzad Theater Campus on May 6th.

The play is based on Tolstoy’s famous novel “Anakarnina” and is performed.

The story of this play is about the actor playing the role of Anacarnina in one of the movie versions of this work and the impact of this role on his private life.

Masoumeh Rahmani and Behnam Sharafi are the actors in this play.

“Season of Oblivion” with Bahareh Rahnama

The play “Season of Forgetfulness”, written, directed and acted by Bahareh Rahnama, will be performed at Shahrzad Theater from May 26th.

This play is the story of a woman who narrates in a monologue the memories – sufferings and deprivations of their love and life together.

Parviz Parastavi and the “first person singular” of Isfahanis

The play “Single First Person”, written and directed by Omid Niaz and produced by Parviz Parastavi, will be staged at the Shahrzad Theater on May 26th.

This play, which is the most watched play in Isfahan, narrates the subject of loneliness with excerpts from the life of a man named Mehrdad.

Omid Niaz and Mons Pourfatehian are the actors of this play accompanied by Leila and Moniri.

Kamran Shahlaei and “Midnight”

The comedy play “Midnight” written by Kamran Shahlaei and co-directed by Mohammad Larti and Kamran Shahlaei will be staged in Hall No. 3 of Shahrzad Theater Campus from mid-May.

In this play, Ramin Nasser Nasir and Mahsa Iranians play roles. The plot of “Midnight” is summarized as follows: The life of a 40-year-old single master who is faced with a condition for becoming official and marriage becomes his concern.

Children face their fears in the play “Thief of Lullabies”

The children’s play “The Thief of Lullabies” written by Faezeh Feyz and Bahram Jalalipour and designed and directed by Arash Sharifzadeh will be performed at the Shahrzad Theater Campus from mid-May.

The theme of this play is about children who are afraid of the dark or small things cause great fears in them, and on the other hand it is about children who are jealous of their younger siblings.

Extensions of “Back to Black”, “Night of Doubt”, “Crimology” and “Rabies”

Four plays were extended at the Shahrzad Theater in May and will remain on stage.

“Back to Black” theater, written and directed by Sajjad Afsharian, will be staged on Shahrzad Theater Campus with more than 37,000 spectators.

“Karim Logi”, which is a different version of the Iranian play, and “Cream of Juice”, written by Mehran Ranjbar and directed by Reza Bahrami, was extended until mid-May at the Shahrzad Theater.

The play “Karimeh Logi” has been welcomed by the audience with a look at the life of Karim “Shirehaei” played by Majid Rahmati. The play, produced by Navid Mohammadzadeh, will remain on stage until the end of May.

“Night of Doubt” directed by Amir Hossein Barimani and produced by Navid Mohammadzadeh is one of the successful works of the University Theater Festival, which has received the statuette of the leading actor and the director of the 23rd Iranian University Theater Festival. The play, which has been staged at the Shahrzad Theater since April 5, will continue until mid-May.

The play “Rabbit or the Man Who ..” written and directed by Afshin Zamani is the second part of a trilogy, the first part of which was “Prince of Ehtejab”, which was performed in 1998. This play will remain on the stage until mid-May.
