Shushtar Windmills and Kites Festival was held

The head of Shushtar’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department added: In this one-day festival, which was realized by the formation of a people’s headquarters from among Shushtar’s cultural heritage lovers on January 1, 1402, while creating excitement among the citizens, this cultural event laid the groundwork for reviving an ancient culture and revitalizing it. It provided a game of past local games.
Referring to the fact that this family festival was implemented in two sections, traditional kites and new kites, he said: Priority was given to Shoshtri style kites with three materials, paper, niboria and sirish, and 100 kites were made by the management of Tarme Museum Cafe. Welfare underwear was prepared and presented for charitable purposes and to help homeless children.
Referring to the welcome of Shushtar’s culture-loving families and residents in the Masakh square of the historic Sasals castle, Najjarasiabani said: at the end, after the judging, the best prizes were awarded to the participating wind turbines by the People’s Headquarters of Shushtar’s Cultural Heritage Lovers.
