T. In the meeting of the head of the Insurance Research Institute with the senior managers of the International Islamic University of Malaysia, which was held on the morning of Friday, January 30, 1401, at the location of the International Islamic University of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, a memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation between the Insurance Research Institute and the International Islamic University of Malaysia was signed.

According to this memorandum of understanding, International Islamic University of Malaysia for 3 years in the field of “Knowledge cultivation through participation and mutual cooperation in activities organized by each of the parties in related research and leading fields, conducting studies in very priority areas such as Islamic finance and Takaful, cooperation for the publication of related studies and development cooperation”; “Education through organizing and holding educational programs in various and possible forms, with the aim of training highly skilled professionals in the Islamic financial industry and Takaful and the market”, “Exchanging data and educational materials and providing advice in the field of Islamic finance and Takaful and “other areas of cooperation agreed by the parties” will cooperate with the Iran Insurance Research Institute, and the parties pledged to use all their efforts in order to facilitate joint cooperation by providing the necessary expertise, manpower, information and related support.

In the meeting to sign the memorandum of understanding, Asgari, while appreciating the role of Malaysia in the internationalization of Islamic economy and takaful, pointed out the benefits of relations with Iran due to its strategic role in relations with other Muslim countries, and while declaring his agreement with the implementation mechanism of the provisions of the memorandum of understanding and adherence to The principles and rules of the International Islamic University of Malaysia introduced the representatives of the Insurance Research Institute to follow up on the implementation of this memorandum.

Asgari pointed to the memorandum of understanding and agreements concluded between the Insurance Research Institute and other Islamic insurance, takaful and financial institutions in Malaysia, and the study opportunity for the members of the insurance research institute’s faculty in the June semester, the holding of the conference “Comparison of conventional insurance and takaful” in July 1402, and the inclusion of the badge In the call for articles, publications and joint articles with IIUM professors in the field of takaful and Islamic finance, the International Islamic University of Malaysia listed conducting a joint research project with the Faculty of Economics and Management of this university as areas of joint cooperation between the two groups.

The head of the Insurance Research Institute invited the professors of the International Islamic University of Malaysia to cooperate and participate in the scientific committee and key speakers of the upcoming conference on insurance and development and added; The professors of this university can help in choosing the main and sub-topics of the Insurance Research Institute conference and share their experiences with this collection, considering the favorable experience in the field of takaful.

In another part of his speech, Asgari announced the possibility of holding virtual webinars on takaful and related fields every two weeks and added that if the International Islamic University of Malaysia agrees, the first webinar will be held with this university in March of this year.

The head of the insurance research institute noted; Considering the familiarity of Iran’s insurance industry managers with basic concepts in Takaful field, we need a short-term training course at intermediate and advanced levels in Takaful field. He stated; Every year, on one or two occasions, different groups of scholars will be sent to IIUM, and along this path, it will be possible to customize the IIUM educational program according to different levels of audience.

Ms. Irwani considered the research institute’s requests as short-term cooperation and summarized them in four areas: publications, conference events, training courses, and study opportunities, and recommended cooperation with the International Center for Islamic Financial Education in IIUM, which trains professors of various universities in Malaysia. did

By announcing the agreement of IIUM to hold an educational webinar before the holy month of Ramadan, he requested to present the educational topics and topics considered by the Insurance Research Institute and further presented the educational plan of IIUM including lesson modules for academics and industry activists to familiarize the audience.

At the end, the memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation between the two institutions was signed by Asgari as the representative of Bimah Research Institute and Garozazmi, the head of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the International Islamic University of Malaysia as the representative of this university.
