Single share of 4 million main housing

According to Tejarat News, the housing issue in Iran is now a story of several decades, and this issue can be solved from one government to another with half-finished projects and several basic problems. The thirteenth government, with an annual plan of one million houses, set foot on this land and now this plan has become the most important news of this government.
One of the criticisms of the performance of both governments over the past few months is the removal of singles from housing and even mortgages, which in the latest news, the Minister of Roads announced the possibility of returning this segment of society to housing projects.
Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi, of course, announced that divorce had increased the demand for housing, explaining that consultations were under way to register single people.
During the government’s visit to Ardabil province, Ghasemi appeared on a television program to explain the actions of the ministry and the 13th government in the housing sector. The Minister of Roads and Urban Development said in this regard: in the eighth visit of the President to the provinces, while visiting various projects, meeting with the people and attending the Administrative Council of the province, the problems of the province will be reviewed and transferred to the President.
The cabinet member of the 13th government, while emphasizing the implementation of four million housing units in four years, emphasized and followed up with the president, noting that four million housing units are the needs of the country. In 1991, we had nearly 900,000 marriages in the country, but in 1999, this number increased by one third and vice versa. This statistic shows that the issue of housing is a serious issue in the country and the share of housing costs in many cities is not tolerable.
Ghasemi continued: “The problems of Mehr housing and national housing in the law of production leap have been solved and the 13th government is seriously pursuing the issue of having real applicants as homeowners.”
He continued: To date, the lands of 900 cities belonging to the government have been identified and the land bank is being established.
A member of the 13th government cabinet described facilities as the second component and added: “According to the law on the leap in housing production, 360 thousand billion tomans of facilities will be allocated to different sectors of housing.” We are finalizing the facility ceiling. Housing production leap facilities in Tehran are 450 million Tomans, in other metropolises 400 million Tomans, in provincial centers 350 million Tomans and in villages 300 million Tomans, which is being finalized. The repayment of installments is also one year and will be of little use to the lower deciles.
Ghasemi invited all housing applicants, both urban and rural, to register in the housing production leap system.
He also announced the change in the construction system in the country and specified: “We are looking to acquire knowledge of new construction technologies in the country in order to achieve quality both in terms of construction quality and energy consumption.”
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development announced: “According to statistics, 520,000 people with national names and codes are covered by the Relief and Welfare Committee. In agreement with the Ministry of Labor, Cooperation and Social Welfare, we signed an agreement for the construction of housing with the Relief Committee.” 400,000 units will be built by the Housing Foundation, of which 200,000 units are urban and 200,000 are rural.
Ghasemi announced a consultation to create conditions for the registration of singles in the Housing Production Leap Law. Emphasizing that the issue of housing should not be dealt with politically, he said: “Those who registered in the National Housing Action Plan will be subject to all the benefits of the Production Leap Law.”
