Slight decline in production of commercial vehicles

According to the statistics, in the first seven months of this year, 48,126 commercial vehicles, including trucks, vans, tractors, vans, vans, minibuses and buses were produced in the country, which compared to the same period last year. Shows a decrease of five percent. The most produced product in this sector is a van, and the van has the lowest circulation. Given the growth in production in the trucks and vans sector, the overall circulation of businesses could have experienced growth in the first seven months of this year, but the decline in pickup production has not allowed this. If we do not take into account the statistics of vans, the total production of commercial vehicles in the first seven months of this year shows a figure of 6,201 units, which shows a growth of 60% compared to the same period last year.

But the other thing about seven-month statistics is that traders still produce far less than their nominal production capacity. However, due to the traffic of a large number of light and heavy used cars, especially in the bus, minibus and truck sectors, they need to be scrapped and replaced, and for this, more production must be done. However, problems such as sanctions, lack of liquidity and weak demand have not allowed traders, especially in the heavy goods sector, to increase their production. In the meantime, the lifting of sanctions could greatly help boost commercial vehicle production in the country, as it will allow foreigners to return and when they return, production will grow.

But according to the Ministry of Silence, in the first seven months of this year, the largest circulation in the light and heavy commercial vehicles sector is allocated to vans, whose production has declined. In the first seven months of this year, 41,925 vans were produced in the country, which shows a decrease of about 11% compared to the same period last year. Most of the production vans in the first seven months of this year have been dedicated to Saipa and Pride vans.

In the field of trucks, vans and killers, but the circulation has increased considerably and the commercialists have succeeded in producing nearly five thousand of these cars by the end of October this year. This figure has caused the production of the car group in question to increase by about 81% compared to the first seven months of last year. Most of the production in this sector is allocated to Saipa’s commercial unit (Saipadizel) and the rest is produced by the share of Iran, Khodro Diesel and private sector companies. But in the area of ​​buses and minibuses, automakers are still performing poorly.

During the first seven months of this year, a total of 509 minibuses and middle buses were produced in the country, which shows an increase of less than eight percent compared to the same period last year. The production of buses by the end of October this year was 367 units, which shows a decrease of about 22 percent compared to seven months last year. Finally, the production of vans in the first seven months of this year, although it has grown significantly, the circulation of this car model in the country is still low. Statistics from the Ministry of Silence say that 340 vans were produced in the first seven months of this year, which shows a growth of nearly 97% compared to the same period last year. Most of the products produced in the first seven months of this year were the share of the private sector.
