“Smart kid” rival “Babai” in Fajr

According to the film correspondent of Fars News Agency, the animated film “Zarang Kid” has filled out a form to participate in the 41st Fajr Film Festival. This animation is directed by Behnoud Nekoui and produced by Hamed Jafari and is a product of Honorpoya Group.

The synopsis of this animation reads: “Mohsen is a boy who loves superheroes and always tries to help everyone and everything with his superhero equipment. But in a rare event, Mohsen encounters an animal that is an extinct species of Iran. Mohsen decides to help that animal and bring him back to his hometown, but traveling to the heart of the forest, fighting with hunters and facing other extinct animals is the beginning of a complicated story for Mohsen and…”

The previous name of this animation was “Extinction”, which has now been changed to “Smart Kid” to review the participation form at the Fajr Film Festival.

Due to the condition of the presence of at least two animated works in the Fajr Film Festival and the possible presence of “Babai”, the latest product of Oj Animation Center in the festival, these two animations are expected to compete with each other in the side part of the festival.
