“Sonsoz” went to Bulgaria
The movie “Sonsoz” directed by Reza Jamali and produced by Salman Abbasi made it to the international film festival of Manar in Bulgaria.
Charso Press: According to the media consultant of the project, the movie “Sonsoz” (A village without children) written and directed by Reza Jamali and produced by Salman Abbasi in its 9th international appearance made it to the main part of the 16th Menar Film Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria. Previously, this film was nominated for the best feature film award from Almaty Film Festival, Kazakhstan.
Munar International Film Festival, which annually showcases the best films, documentaries and short fiction films from the countries of the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa, will be held from January 12 to 28, 2024 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The synopsis of the movie “Sonsoz” states: “Twenty years ago, Kazem Piri, an old filmmaker, made a documentary film about the infertility of the women in his village. At that time, the rash of his film was stolen by the women of the village and destroyed; Now, after twenty years, he realizes that the problem is not the infertility of village women, and this time Kazem decides to make a film to reveal the hidden truth of this story, and he faces bigger problems on the way to making the film.
In the movie “Sonsoz” which is a comedy genre and was produced in Turkish in Ardabil province, actors such as Maryam Momin, Hamdullah Salimi, Behrouzullah Vardizadeh, Sefat Ahari, Naser Mohebi, Rasul Alinejad, Velayat Khoobdal, Ahmed Purostan, Mohammad Seif, Siamak Zabari, Elmira Taati, Tafar Zamani and Habib Shahbazi have played roles.
