According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Sputnik website, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri emphasized in a conversation with the Egyptian MBC television channel: What has been published in the media about the establishment of the relations channel between Egypt and Iran are baseless speculations.

He added: “Relations between Iran continue as they were, and we are monitoring developments in Iran’s relations with the Persian Gulf countries and Tehran’s policies.”

Sameh Shukri emphasized: When the benefit is in changing the approach (in bilateral relations), we will definitely move towards realizing the benefits.

In the end, the Egyptian foreign minister said: “Politics is not an unchangeable issue and it is always evolving based on interests and considerations. Of course, I believe that understanding between Iran and Saudi Arabia will take time.”

These words of the Egyptian Foreign Minister were stated in the context that today, in a report, Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper reported that Iran and Egypt are preparing for new talks on the security level in Baghdad.
