Spokesperson of the Aviation Organization: We did not oversell/we are doing our best to increase the available capacity

According to Fars news agency, Mir Akbar Razavi in an interview with Arbaeen Radio stated that during this period we have not seen overselling of plane tickets from Iranian companies providing tickets and added: When I was talking to people at the Salam Terminal of Imam Airport, they mentioned that They got the ticket with difficulty, but they were satisfied with the price of the ticket and preventing the spread of prices.
Emphasizing that, unfortunately, the amount of demand is much higher than the supply, and in this regard, it was predictable that people would have problems in getting tickets, he stated: I apologize once again to the applicants who cannot get tickets. I do this because our total capacity for air traffic to Iraq these days is about 100 thousand people, while the demand is much higher than this.
Razavi stated that today the head of the Civil Aviation Organization will meet and consult with the officials of the Iraqi and Najaf airports, and pointed out: We are doing our best to increase the existing capacity, but to achieve this, we need to increase the capacity of the Najaf and Baghdad airports and We should also pay attention to the readiness of the Iraqi side.
