According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Sputnik, the defense ministers of Iran, Russia and Turkey emphasized the necessity of returning stability to Syria.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement on Tuesday that in today’s meeting, the defense ministers of Russia, Turkey, Iran and Syria emphasized the importance of preserving the integrity of Syria and increasing efforts to return refugees to this country.

The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia states that the defense ministers of Russia, Iran, Syria and Turkey also emphasized that the current meeting between these four countries has a constructive nature and it is necessary that these talks continue with the aim of establishing stability in Syria.

The defense ministers of Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iran also discussed the strengthening of security conditions in Syria, the fight against terrorism and the fight against extremist groups in this country.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia also announced that “Sergei Shoigu”, the Minister of Defense of Russia, had a separate meeting and consultation with the Ministers of Defense of Iran, Syria and Turkey who came to Moscow.
