According to the news agency, citing the Lebanese website Al-Ahed, Ali Hamieh, Minister of Transport of Lebanon, in a meeting with Mojtaba Amani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut yesterday, emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of transportation.

According to Lebanese sources, this meeting was held in line with the development and activation of cooperation between Iran and Lebanon in strategic sectors.

The Minister of Transport of Lebanon also wrote in a Twitter message about this: The meeting with Mojtaba Amani, Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, was a good opportunity to activate and strengthen cooperation with Iran in strategic projects.

He added: Holding this meeting will lead to the use of Iran’s assistance and experiences in order to activate the public services of the Lebanese Ministry of Transport.

In another development from Lebanon, Salim Aoun, a member of the strong Lebanese faction in the parliament of this country, referring to the recent meeting between the President of Lebanon Michel Aoun and Najib Mikati, the Prime Minister responsible for the formation of the government in the Baabda Palace, said: the stagnant waters in the field of government formation New has been activated, unless the opposite of this issue is proven.

He added: We cannot be patient until there is a presidential vacuum in Lebanon. If the intentions are positive, a new government will be formed soon and we will no longer face the problem of short-lived governments.
