Street music groups cooperate with the radio/ Yalda special preparation – Mehr News Agency Iran and world’s news



Hamidreza Eftekhari, director of Saba Radio, in an interview with Mehr’s reporter, said about the “Yalda Night” special program of this radio network: “Yalda Night is the end of the Sabakhani campaign, in which poems by Hafez are read, and it has been well received.”

He continued: We have taken the help of Saeed Biabanki, the poet, along with other people of Farhang to judge the works. The “Yalda Night” special program starts at 20:00 and probably continues until the morning.

Eftekhari also mentioned about the presenters and guests of the program: Mehbod Zwanat Pisheh and Fariba Bagheri are among the presenters of this special program. We don’t have face guests, but we have attractive guests who are present in this program with different jobs.

The director of Saba Radio said about the program “Mazgunchi” that has been broadcast on this network for some time and deals with street music groups, he said: Most of these groups work with wordless music and have some kind of license from the Ministry of Guidance. This program also has a documentary atmosphere and its creation requires a lot of difficulties.

He said about the details of the program: Each part of the program takes about a week. So far, 16 episodes have been aired and this program will continue until the end of winter. Our effort has been to address the potential of these wordless street music, one of our goals is to bring some of these groups to the network and produce works with them.

Iftikhari added: We are producing an album related to the network, which has both spoken and non-spoken pieces, and in this album we are taking help from the musical capacity of these groups.

The director of Saba Radio pointed to a new program and said: We also have a program called “Zang Ensha”, which aims to revive Zang Ensha in schools. In this program, the time of which is 15 minutes, students send their essays and it is read in this program.

In the end, he explained about another program: We have launched another program these days called “Rozi rozgari Pahlavi” which deals with satirical works written during Pahlavi’s time. These were the humorous works of that time, which we are going to discuss with some kind of reproduction.
