Submitting a report on the implementation of instructions on how foreign tourists enter the Minister of Heritage and Culture

According to Aria Heritage Reporter, the second webinar of executive instructions on how foreign tourists enter the country during the outbreak of coronavirus to report on the measures taken by the provinces in the past two weeks with the presence of Ali Asghar Shalbafian, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Handicrafts 15 provinces of the country were held at noon on Sunday, November 7, 1400 in the Persian Gulf Hall of the Deputy Minister of Tourism.
Expressing satisfaction with the performance of the provinces in the past two weeks, Shalbafian said: “The purpose of this instruction is to strengthen the presence of tourists in the country and to ensure the interests of activists in the field, and the realization of this goal requires collective participation. “During this period, the private sector of the provinces has acted in a cohesive and cooperative manner.”
Emphasizing the importance of continuing the convergence and partnership of the provinces with each other, he added: “A full report on each of the measures taken by the provinces has been submitted to the Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts.”
Shalbafian stressed the importance of strengthening the online infrastructure of travel services offices and hotels, saying, “Operation in the current market requires the launch of an active site. “All travel services offices and hotels need to strengthen and equip themselves in this regard.”
“We are in regular contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate matters and transfer cases,” he said, referring to correspondence and interaction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Regarding the arrival of individual tourists, he explained: “Regarding the hotels, there is no definite purchase, but the hotel reservation is mentioned. In special circumstances, the consulate can issue a single visa to a person. “Individual tourist entry is not prevented and it is possible to accompany the consulates.”
The important role of the private sector in managing the Iraqi market was another point mentioned by Shalbafian at the meeting, who said, “Increasing the number of passengers from Iraq requires the active participation of the private sector, and in this regard, we are present as the public sector alongside the private sector.”
Referring to the talks with the Iraqi side and the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, he added: “Mechanisms and correspondence between the agencies are time-consuming and cause a loss of opportunity and time. “The presence of provincial general managers along with the province’s private sector will help advance and organize affairs.”
In this meeting, while presenting a report by provincial general managers and the private sector, Ebrahim Pourfaraj, President of the Iranian Tour Operators Association and Wafa, a representative of the Tehran Hoteliers Association, expressed their views and the provincial managers presented a report on their performance.
In order to implement the guidelines for the presence of foreign tourists in the country during the outbreak of Corona virus, three specialized committees have been formed in the Deputy Minister of Tourism and daily active communication between the private and public sectors in 31 provinces Has put the development of tourism activities on the agenda.
