More than half of Jewish Israelis support a military strike on Iran to halt its nuclear program.

According to Sputnik, Israel has in the past been suspected of attacking Iran’s nuclear sites – however, it has used more unconventional devices than missiles or bombs.

According to several cybersecurity companies, Israel has released a virus called Stuxnet, which has damaged nuclear enrichment centrifuges in Iran. Tel Aviv has never confirmed these reports.

More than half of Jewish Israelis believe Tel Aviv should have launched a military strike on Iran at a time when the Islamic Republic was in the “early stages” of developing its nuclear program, citing the results of a recent poll. Find a diplomatic solution.

About 51 percent of Jewish Israelis supported the military extremist approach, while only 15 percent of Arab Israelis supported it.

At the same time, only 23.5 percent of Jewish respondents and 46 percent of Arab respondents supported a diplomatic approach to resolving the dispute between Tehran and Tel Aviv over Iran’s nuclear program.

A significant proportion of respondents in a poll with a maximum error of about 3.6 percent said they did not know which option was better: about 25.5 percent of Jewish respondents and 39 percent of Arab respondents in Israel to choose between. They had two problems.

The poll comes as the new Israeli government continues its policy of strongly opposing Iran’s nuclear program, citing fears of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government – Tehran’s acquisition of a nuclear weapon.

Iran has been gradually increasing its uranium enrichment level since 2019, well above the 3% level set in the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan (CJAP) in 2015.
