Support of the National Headquarters for Combating Economic Corruption for the approval of the separation of personal and business accounts

According to the report of Iran Economist, quoting from the public relations of the camp for combating economic corruption; In recent days, following the wrong comment of one of the members of the parliament regarding the note 6 of the budget bill 1403, rumors were spread in the cyberspace, which were not true.
According to this representative, “if the amount deposited into the personal and non-commercial account of natural persons in each month until the end of May 1403 is more than the previous year, it will be taxed.”
This article is completely incorrect and different from the resolution of the parliament. An increase in the amount deposited into a personal account compared to last year is not a criterion for receiving tax.
The text of the resolution of the parliament is as follows: “If the sum of the amount and frequency of deposits to the non-commercial accounts of each natural person in each month is greater than the sum of the amount and frequency of deposits determined by the Money and Credit Council until the end of May 1403, proof of income The absence of transactions and the presentation of documents are the responsibility of the account holder. “Non-commercial account” means an account that is not registered with the country’s tax affairs organization as an account related to the taxpayer’s activity.
The resolution of the parliament lays the foundation for the separation of personal and commercial accounts, which, in addition to creating a platform for increasing the level of economic transparency, provides the basis for effective action in reducing tax evasion and establishing tax justice. In the absence of a mechanism for monitoring the personal accounts of some trades and businesses Through card to card, not using the card reader or receiving cash, they are evading the law and evading taxes.
In fact, this resolution prevents one of the major tax avoidance methods of some trades through card to card. In a non-transparent environment where there was no mechanism for personal accounts, people who had transparent economic activities paid more taxes, but by separating personal and commercial accounts and determining the quorum of activity for personal accounts, the incidence of corruption and injustice is reduced in this way.
This resolution has nothing to do with the economic activists who were operating in a transparent manner and the general public. It includes people who were doing tax evasion through card after card.
The National Headquarters for Combating Economic Corruption, while thanking the government and the Tax Affairs Organization for proposing this clause in the 1403 budget bill, also thanks the 11th Parliament for approving this clause. This resolution and other laws under the implementation of the Tax Affairs Organization, including the Law on Shopping Terminals, will reduce the incidence of economic corruption through tax evasion in the tax system.
