Surface Pro 8 introduced!

Study time: 2 Minutes

For years, Microsoft has been launching its popular tablet with a similar design and very few changes; But after five years, the company has finally decided to launch the Surface Pro series tablets with the changes that everyone has been waiting for. At an event held a few hours ago, Microsoft unveiled the Surface Pro 8 and several other products.

As rumored a few days ago, the new version of Surface Pro will be released with a 120Hz display; Of course, the refresh rate of this monitor is 60 Hz by default. Microsoft, on the other hand, uses the same design as the Surface Pro X for the Surface Pro 8, which means less margins and curved corners. Thanks to smaller margins, Microsoft has been able to use a 13-inch display instead of a 12.3-inch one without enlarging the device. The aspect ratio of the same 3: 2 screen has remained popular and has not changed.

Another big change in this version is the addition of internal memory switchability; This feature has been requested by enthusiasts of this tablet for years.

As in previous years, Microsoft has also used the latest version of Intel processors; Intel’s powerful 11th generation processors play the leading role of all Surface Pro 8 models. Another but useful change from this version compared to other versions is the addition of the Thunderbolt port. The new generation Surface Pro will come with two Thunderbolt 4 ports.

The base version of the tablet will be available with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory and i5 processor. The most powerful and expensive version of the Surface Pro 8 uses one terabyte of internal memory, 32 GB of RAM and an i7 processor. Of course, the Enterprise version of this tablet comes with a weaker i3 processor.

The new Surface Pro keyboard has also undergone significant changes; Microsoft has used carbon fiber to make this version, which has a higher strength than previous versions. Also, this keyboard, like the Surface Pro X keyboard, has a special place for inserting a pen.

The Surface Pro 8 will be available from October 5 (October 13) with a base price of $ 1099.
