According to IRNA, following the recent events between Russia and Ukraine, “Gleb Mozurkov”, the president of the Russian Wushu Federation, announced that the federation’s activity in Europe was suspended.
Mozurkov also said he had resigned as vice-president of the European Wushu Confederation.
The decision comes amid extensive research by the World Federation and its ethics committee into the activities of Mozurkov and the European Wushu Confederation.
Mehdi Alinejad is a member of the Board of Directors of the World Wushu Federation and Vice President of the Asian Wushu Confederation and one of the three members of the Ethics Committee of the World Wushu Federation.
