Sweden’s accession to NATO was suspended

According to Fars International News Agency, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström announced on Saturday the suspension of the country’s NATO accession process.

In this regard, he said: “Due to the burning of the Koran (in Stockholm), the process of Sweden joining NATO has been suspended.”
