Takhti wedding photographer will appear on TV tonight – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the public relations of the documentary network, Abolfazl Tavakoli announced the production of a new documentary about one of the pioneers in the field of photography. This documentary was produced on the Sima Documentary Network and will be broadcast on TV tonight, December 24th.

Referring to the subject of this documentary, Tavakoli said: “The documentary” Photography Cup “is a portrait of Mohammad Gol Jamjoo, one of the pioneer photographers who has a long history in photography, especially black and white photography. He started his career in “Angel” photography on Shousha Street and is now one of the most experienced people in this field.

Referring to different aspects of the life of this photographer, he said: The interesting thing about the life of Mohammad Gol Jamjoo is that he was one of the wedding photographers of Jahan Pahlavan Takhti. Of course, his fame is mostly due to the portraits he has taken from famous contemporary figures, such as Dr. Gharib, Dr. Moin, the late Akhavan Sales, Majid Mohseni, actor, Master Shahriyar, and so on.

The documentary filmmaker stated: Mohammad Gol Jamjoo also had experience in film photography. For the first time, Samuel Khakichian, the director of the country’s famous letter, sees his photos and invites him to take photos in his projects. He later photographed in the movies “Postman” by Dariush Mehrjoui, “Curse” by Nasser Taghvaei, etc. The TV series “Gol Pamchal” and “Hazar Dastan” are also among his photography experiences in TV series. Gol Jamjoo has a valuable treasure trove of photographs about the imposed war and the holy city of Mashhad in the years before the revolution.

The director of the documentary “Photography Cup” said at the end about the production process of this work: This 54-minute documentary was shot this summer. I would have loved to shoot a part of the film in the places he remembered, but many of these places were closed due to the corona epidemic in the summer and the fifth peak of the disease. In addition, we would like to take advantage of the presence of many veterans in the field of photography, many of whom were disabled due to this disease.

The documentary “Photography Cup” will be broadcast tonight, Wednesday, at 9 pm on the Documentary Network, and will be rebroadcast on Thursday at 6:15 pm.
