Taliban expelled the representative of the European Union in Afghanistan

According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency’s Afghanistan website, the head of the European Union delegation in Afghanistan announced on Tuesday (September 1) that he will end his mission and leave Afghanistan.
Arnott Powles, who appears to have been fired by the Taliban, tweeted: “You can fire a diplomat from Afghanistan, but you can’t rid Afghanistan of diplomats.”
Powles added that soon Rafael Laydik will replace him as the head of the EU delegation in Afghanistan.
The appointment of a female diplomat as the head of the European Union in Kabul is interpreted as the seriousness of Europe to support women’s rights in Afghanistan.
Earlier, Pauls said that the reopening of girls’ schools is the most important priority of the European Union in Afghanistan.
He mentioned women’s right to work, human rights, media freedom and the formation of an effective and comprehensive political system as other priorities of the European Union.
In this interview, it was emphasized that the demands of the international community to establish an inclusive government and give the right to work and education to women do not mean interfering in the internal affairs of Afghanistan.
This is while the Taliban has repeatedly warned against the interference of other countries in Afghanistan’s internal affairs and demanded interaction with the world.
