According to IRNA’s report on Wednesday, the Afghan Voice (Ava) news agency announced that after the US drone attack on Kabul’s Shirpur area, “Jobaiden”, the President of the United States announced that the leader of Al-Qaeda was killed in this attack.

After this incident, the officials of the Taliban interim government confirmed the attack, but they did not say anything about the death of Ayman al-Zawahiri.

In the meantime, Sirajuddin Haqqani, in an interview with an Indian channel, said that the al-Qaeda group does not have a military presence in Afghanistan and that Afghanistan will not be a threat to the world.

Although the US Secretary of State announced that the interim government of the Taliban violated the Doha agreement by harboring the leader of Al-Qaeda, but Sirajuddin Haqqani pointed out that the interim government of the Taliban still adheres to this agreement and no country will be threatened by Afghanistan.

Sunday’s US drone attack in Kabul and the killing of Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in this attack were in the headlines of the world media.
