The CEO of the Soil Mechanics and Technical Laboratory stated: About 3 million technical tests have been conducted for the quality control of the projects, and currently, during the past year, about 72 thousand kilometers of the arterial and main axes of the country have been sampled by the laboratory for quality control. Sampling can be mentioned in the axes of Tehran, Qom, Alborz and Zanjan provinces.

Kianpour added: Laboratory Technical and mechanical can perform more than 600 types of tests, and we hope that with extensive efforts, we will be able to perform effective measures in the field of geotechnics and quality control in line with the world’s current knowledge.

He continued: We are cooperating with most of the provinces of the country and doing quality control of the projects, and in the past month, more than 50 local units have been added to our units across the country.

The CEO of Soil Mechanics and Technical Laboratory said: “Soil and Mechanics Technical Testing is perhaps the only authority that has unique services in the field of bitumen performance, fortunately, considering the good performance that has been done regarding asphalt and bitumen in most projects. We have an effective presence in the country, and our effort is to promote and update this knowledge.

Kianpour added: It is planned to train 200,000 person-hours in this field this year, and 120,000 person-hours of training have been done so far with the cooperation of provincial cooperation councils and the cooperation of governorates and general managers of technical offices and the program and budget organization.

He stated that we have a good and constructive cooperation in the field of mining and added: “In terms of the country’s infrastructure and construction projects, we have excavated more than 65,000 meters in one year, and fortunately, we have a good cooperation in most of the country’s infrastructure projects, except for the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development. We had with the Ministry of Energy in the dams sector and with the Ministry of Petroleum in petrochemicals and refineries.
