According to Mawj News Agency, Iran, which has traveled to neighboring countries after a long recession during the Corona era, held a bilateral meeting with representatives of Pakistan and Iraqi Kurdistan regional travel agencies to further strengthen the presence of tourists from neighboring countries.
Ali Akbar Ghakhar, a member of the board of directors of the Iranian Tour Operators Association, referring to the country’s potential in mountain skiing, desert climbing, high quality health and medical tourism, as well as pilgrimage, said: “Why not choose Iran for travel, when it is a cheap destination and tourist guides They are fluent in most languages and the people are very hospitable.
He pointed to the low cost of health tourism in Iran compared to India, Singapore and other countries and added: “Iranian visas are issued very quickly and easily and can be obtained at international airports and other points of entry into the country.”
Parham Janfshan, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Tehran Province, also referred to Tehran’s tourism potential and spoke about the fact that Iran’s largest international airport is located in Tehran and that this city is the first destination of all incoming passengers.
He also introduced the shrines of Tehran, which could be destinations for tourists from Pakistan and the Iraqi Kurdistan region, and spoke of hospitals, four- and five-star hotels and entertainment centers, and the nearest ski slope to the metropolitan area and shopping malls.
