Ali Akbar Ashouri, in an interview with Fars News Agency economic reporter, said about the latest traffic situation on the roads: According to the information of 2270 road traffic counters, the total traffic recorded on the roads overnight shows an increase of 1.2% compared to the previous day. During the same period, the share of heavy vehicles in road traffic was 11.3%, the highest traffic was recorded between 17:00 and 18:00 and the lowest traffic was recorded between 4:00 and 5:00 AM.

* Heavy traffic on the Karaj-Qazvin-Karaj freeway

Ashouri said: “Video surveillance cameras currently show heavy traffic in some sections of the Karaj-Qazvin and Qazvin-Karaj freeways.”

He announced the occurrence of heavy traffic on the Kandovan axis in the areas of Marzanebad, Khozankola and said: ‌ Traffic is flowing on the Haraz, Firoozkooh and Qazvin-Rasht freeways.

* Blockage of 7 roads due to lack of safety

The director of the Roads Management Center reminded: – Currently, 7 roads including Royan-Baladeh axis, Punel-Khalkhal road, Shemshak-Dizin axis and Shahdad-Nehbandan road are blocked due to lack of safety.
