Tehran weather warning/ avoid unnecessary traffic
According to the report of Arya Heritage, the General Directorate of Meteorology of Tehran Province has issued a yellow surface pollution warning and referring to the continuation of the relative stability of the atmosphere, the reduction of air quality and pollution from Saturday (December 26) to Wednesday (December 30): Relative stability of the atmosphere , the absence of significant wind and an increase in the concentration of atmospheric pollutants (especially 2.5 pm) is predicted in Tehran, Islamshahr, Baharestan, Pakdasht, Peshwa, Quds, Ray, Shemiranat, Shahryar, Rabat Karim, Qarchak, Mallard and Varamin.
Therefore, it is predicted that air quality will decrease to an unhealthy level for sensitive groups, and if the sources of pollutants are not controlled, it will be unhealthy for all groups in some hours; In this regard, the General Department of Meteorology of Tehran province has recommended reducing unnecessary traffic and avoiding outdoor sports, especially for the elderly, children and people with a history of heart and respiratory diseases, reducing car traffic and controlling the activity of industrial units.
According to Isna, a yellow warning means that an atmospheric phenomenon will occur that may cause disruptions in travel and daily work. This warning is issued for people’s awareness so that they can be prepared to face an atmospheric phenomenon that is slightly more intense than usual. On the other hand, the authorities are informed about these warnings so that they can take measures if necessary.
