According to the announcement of the Tehran Air Quality Control Company, the pollutant index of the capital’s air during the last 24 hours was “suspended particles less than 2.5 microns” with an average of 143, and the air quality of the capital was in an unhealthy state for sensitive groups.

The current indicator pollutant is “suspended particles less than 2.5 microns” with an average of 107 and the air quality is unhealthy for sensitive groups.

It should be mentioned that the air quality index (AQI) is divided into five main categories. Based on this division, from zero to 50 air is “clean”, from 51 to 100 is “acceptable (healthy) or average”, from 101 to 150 is “unhealthy for sensitive groups”, from 151 to 200 is “unhealthy for all groups”, from 201 to 300 is “very unhealthy” and from 301 to 500 is “dangerous” air quality conditions.
