According to Moj news agency, based on the information obtained from the measuring stations Air quality in Tehran Tehran’s air pollution index is currently at 116.

According to the existing standards, when the air pollution index is between 101 and 150, it is considered unhealthy for the sensitive group.

Accordingly, people with heart or lung disease, the elderly and children should reduce long or heavy outdoor activities.

Prolonged activity is any outdoor activity that people do intermittently for several hours and causes breathing to be somewhat harder than normal, for example, working in the garden during the day.

Until today, Tehranis have experienced 8 days of clean air, 77 days of acceptable air, 11 days of unhealthy air for sensitive groups and one day of unhealthy air.
