Tehran’s air quality on June 6, 1402 / Tehran’s air quality index is 67

According to the Moj news agency, based on the forecasts made in the control company Air quality in Tehran According to the effective wind blowing, the air quality will be within the acceptable range in most areas until this morning, June 6, although the start of car traffic can increase the concentration of pollutants and decrease the air quality in some high-traffic areas.
Strengthening atmospheric instability and increasing wind speed during the day will facilitate the dispersion of pollutants, although with relatively strong winds in the afternoon hours, there is a possibility of dust emission and reduction of air quality in susceptible areas.
The continuation of these weather conditions until the last hours of Saturday will reduce the concentration of suspended particles, and the establishment of an acceptable situation in most areas will not be far from expected.
The decrease in wind speed until tomorrow morning, June 7, will lead to an increase in vehicle traffic, an increase in the concentration of suspended particles and a decrease in air quality in some high-traffic areas.
The rule of a relatively calm atmosphere during the day limits the dispersion of pollutants, and with the increase in temperature in the afternoon hours, the possibility of production and increase in the concentration of ozone pollutant will decrease the air quality in some areas.
With the continuation of these weather conditions until late Sunday, with the increase in evening traffic, the concentration of suspended particles is expected to increase and create an unhealthy situation for sensitive groups in some high-traffic areas.
According to the announcement of the Tehran Air Quality Control Company, the average pollutant index of “suspended particles less than 2.5 microns” is 67 and it is in acceptable conditions. Also, the pollutant of the capital’s air index during the past 24 hours was “ozone” with an average of 77. And the air quality of the capital was in acceptable conditions.
