In orange status, people with heart or lung disease, the elderly, and children should reduce prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities.
Air quality index from 0 to 50 clean air (green), 51 to 100 acceptable air (yellow), 101 to 150 unhealthy for sensitive groups (orange), 151 to 200 unhealthy for the public (red), 201 to 300 very unhealthy ( purple) and 301 to 500 is very dangerous (brown).
From the beginning of this year until today, 8 days of clean air, 169 days of acceptable air, 48 days of unhealthy air for sensitive groups and 5 days of unhealthy air have been registered in Tehran.
