Tel Aviv travels to Jordan to pursue water-for-electricity agreement


According to Fars News Agency’s International Service, a delegation from the Zionist regime will go to the Jordanian capital Oman in a few days to pursue the “Water for Electricity” agreement; An agreement signed last year with American support.

According to the news site «Arabic 21Tel Aviv media have reported that this is the first time since the initial draft of the agreement was signed that a delegation from the Israeli Ministry of Energy will travel to Jordan this month (March) to explain the goals of the plan.

The committee will explain the envisaged plans that are to be implemented simultaneously; The construction of a solar power plant in Jordan and the commissioning of a freshwater station in Tel Aviv are two important projects in the agreement.

It is reported that the solar power field in Jordan is to be built and commissioned with the funding of the UAE government to transfer electricity to the Zionist regime. The plan to transfer fresh water from the occupied territories to Jordan will also be pursued with the financial support of Abu Dhabi.

Meanwhile, the Israeli delegation is scheduled to meet with officials from the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Water in the presence of representatives from the UAE.

In November last year, Israeli Minister of Energy Karin Al-Harar, along with Jordanian Minister of Water Mohammed al-Najjar and Minister of Environment and Climate Change Maryam bint Mohammed al-Mahiri, signed a declaration and draft agreement with the support of the US government.
